We'll check you've got room for a tilt-tray truck to deliver. The truck needs around 15m of length to drop the container off.
- How it's placed
The driver tilts the container off the back of the tray, then drives forward slowly to drag it into position — no crane required.

A standard 20ft container is 6.1m long and 2.44m wide — similar to a large caravan. Most driveways accommodate them comfortably. If you're unsure, just tell us the space you have and we'll advise before delivery.
For short-term hire (typically under 3 months), a container is generally treated as temporary equipment in most QLD councils. For longer-term placement, rules vary by council — we can help you understand what applies to your address.
A 20ft standard container has approximately 33 cubic metres of internal volume — roughly equivalent to a 3-bedroom home's worth of furniture and boxes. The most popular size for home storage and renovations.

Shipping containers are built to carry cargo across oceans — designed to keep water out in extreme conditions. All our containers are weathertight, and you lock them with your own padlock. Grade 1–10 lets you choose your condition level.
We deliver on a tilt-tray or side-loader truck and give you a courtesy call before leaving the depot. We position the container where you need it. When you're done with a hire, just call us and we collect it.
